Standard Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Mon-Fri (and some Saturdays)
Skills & Requirements:
2+ years of Floral Design, Wedding Planning, and/or Event Planning experience
Planning, organizing and control of over-all boutique shop operations including design/production process and staff management
Planning, organizing all activities & assign jobs accordingly for floral design /production and shop staff including creating monthly schedule. Hiring and replacing staff as needed
Work with clients to develop wedding and event floral design, prepare and present quotes, orders materials, manages production and logistics
Manage flow of daily floral orders including materials inventory, cooler stock and organization, management of perishable products to minimize waste
Work with retail manager to ensure sales floor/displays are attractive and inviting to customers and inventory levels are maintained
Plan shop activities/floral production resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets including sales volume, cost management, company culture etc.
Ensure accurate record keeping regarding orders, inventory, invoicing, employee time sheets etc.
Works with retail manager to ensure inventory levels and verify accuracy of product received, quantities and condition of product
Oversee production processes for daily floral orders
Supervise work of shop staff in all areas
Ensure that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building
Maintain overall appearance of shop
