The Bahnsen Group (TBG) is looking for a Tax Manager to join their Tax Department in Austin, TX. The role is a full-time, in-office position. The Tax Manager will be responsible for preparing large returns for high net worth clients as well as signing returns prepared by Tax Associates.

• Provide exceptional tax advice and services to high net-worth and Family Office clients
• Review and submit tax returns to the relevant tax authorities, including but not limited to 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120-S, etc.
• Lead client meetings to address client inquiries regarding tax matters
• Liaise with other advisors, to ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Assist the Tax Director with analyzing individual and business tax returns to find opportunities and inefficiencies
• Research federal and state income tax issues and prepare written responses to client questions
• Mentor and coach tax associates to enhance their skills and performance

• Licensed CPA, Attorney, or Enrolled Agent
• 5-8 years of tax season experience in an established accounting firm or industry
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Commitment to client service excellence
• Strong work ethic
