About Us

The Clarion Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to exposing and reducing the threats of extremist groups and individuals who threaten the safety and security of the United States. Our intel, research, and educational media serve as critical tools for the public and law enforcement to confront violent extremism of all kinds. In 2006, Clarion Project embarked on a mission to expose violent extremism as a danger to America through filmmaking. Our documentaries and short films, seen by over 125 million people globally, brought awareness to the world of the danger of violent extremism and predicted a continued global assault of terrorism.

Since its launch in 2017, the Clarion Intelligence Network (CIN), an open-source intelligence research team, has been dedicated to monitoring and exposing online violent extremists to law enforcement. CIN actively tracks social media platforms to identify a wide range of extremists and deliver thousands of crucial intelligence pieces to the appropriate authorities. Our efforts have been instrumental in preventing mass casualty attacks on synagogues, schools, and major events, thereby saving countless lives and preventing numerous tragedies.

We take great pride in our operational excellence and strong entrepreneurial, results-oriented culture. We run on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS®), which builds a healthy, cohesive leadership team and organization united around a clear vision, and executes that vision with focus, discipline, and accountability.

We live by our Core Values and use them to drive our culture. Here at Clarion Project, we are:

1. Committed to the mission. We deeply believe that the world needs us. There is good and evil in the world, and terrorism is not a gray area. We have a passion for making a difference in the world, seeing good prevail, and seeing people living safely without fear.

2. Proactive. We are hungry to achieve, focused on hitting our goals and getting results. We get big stuff done by staying focused on our priorities. When an issue comes our way, we "Identify, Discuss & Solve" it, rather than sweep it under the rug or pawn it off on someone else. We're avid learners who strive for continual growth and ask for help when we need it. We experiment and seek feedback to test ideas, knowing that innovation and creativity don't happen in a vacuum. We take a shot and tweak it till we get it right.

3. Professional. We take pride in delivering accurate, clean, high-quality work on deadline. We follow best practices and do research to ensure we're approaching concepts and projects in the best way possible. We do what we say and what's expected; our managers and teammates can rely on us.

4. Humble team players. We believe that the team's success is our own success. We listen and respect our colleagues, and are open to others' perspectives because we know that thought partnership leads to better outcomes. We operate with transparency, honesty, and openness. We share information when it can help someone, and we put issues and ideas on the table without fear of reprisal. Most importantly, we act for the greater good of the organization. We do the right thing even when it's hard.
