Lake.com is an online vacation rental platform for lakefront vacation properties and is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to help expand our inventory of vacation rentals by reaching out to homeowners and property managers.


We have a proven sales system that experienced salespeople can learn quickly to advance their technology sales career.  


The ideal candidate will be hungry for reaching out to prospects, diligently following up, and helping homeowners and property managers list their vacation rentals on Lake.com. 


This role will initially report directly to the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Responsibilities
  • Contact and engage property owners to promote listing their lakeside properties on Lake.com.
  • Upsell property owners to an annual subscription that provides benefits such as no commissions on bookings, unlimited listings and a verified profile.
  • Schedule and manage appointments with potential clients.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding process for new property listings.
  • Track and report on sales activities and lead progress.
Qualifications

Sales Skills

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in the travel industry, property management or real estate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and appointments efficiently.
  • Track record of conducting of 50 activities per day, such as outbound video calls, phone calls and emails.


Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in CRM software and tools like Salesforce and Slack.
  • Experienced with productivity tools such as Gmail, Google Meet and Google Calendar

Industry and Educational Background

It would be great if you have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or related field.
  • Experience in the short-term rental industry, travel industry or real estate markets.


Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary (60%) and variable pay based upon commissions (40%) with first year On Target Earnings of +$80,000.
