Structural Design EngineerJohnston Burkholder Associates

We're looking for someone to join our growing consulting firm as a Structural Design Engineer. You'll be working on structural designs for low-rise buildings and other related elements. This role offers in-house training for entry-level candidates and the chance to work on a variety of projects, from retail spaces to industrial facilities.

• Design and develop structural systems for low-rise buildings and related elements
• Collaborate with the team to deliver quality work that meets client expectations
• Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with building codes
• If willing to travel, observe and document construction progress on-site and make pre-design condition assessments

• Familiarity with U.S. building codes and regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours when needed
• Strong understanding of structural design principles
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
