Job Summary
We're looking for someone with 5-10 years of experience as a Service Music Accompanist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in playing the organ and piano, with a strong background in choral accompaniment. This role involves accompanying weekly and seasonal services, as well as supporting our growing adult and children’s choir programs. There is potential for the role to expand into musical education and choir direction as our congregation continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Accompany weekly and seasonal services on the organ and piano.
- Provide accompaniment for adult and children’s choir rehearsals and performances.
- Participate in special musical activities throughout the church calendar year.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in historic protestant and reformed sacred music.
- Availability to serve at all services, seasonal services, choir rehearsals, and other activities as requested.
- Background in choral music and music education is desired, but not required.
