ABC Longhorn Moving is a small moving company with over thirty years’ experience serving Austin and the State of Texas. We have been growing steadily even during the recent pandemic we saw unexpected growth. There is ample opportunity for someone to grow with us and make great money.
We are looking for someone who brings excitement and enthusiasm to everything! The right candidate loves a full schedule and keeping a fast pace. Customer relationships are the motivation, and you can’t wait for the next one. The process is listening, learning, presenting, and following up.
Some experience in a service industry (preferably the moving industry) and a familiarity of the language, basic structure of the service/moving landscape. One Year experience as a moving estimator, coordinator, or account representative.
You will need to possess good listening skills, communication skills, good organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. You will also need dependable transportation.
Requires general business math skills. Must be able to use a personal computer, perform measurements, estimating and be able to think spatially. Must be able to read, have legible writing, be able to spell, and the ability to communicate clearly on all technical and business levels. You will be expected to perform 10-12 sales appointments per week, including bid preparation and follow-up work. Cold calls-tracking leads-calendar organization-maintain database-report daily progress-repeat.
Must develop/possess/retain knowledge of the service industry procedures, selling techniques and overcome selling objections.
Physical requirements are carrying or moving up to 25 pounds, use of arms, hands, standing, sitting, squatting, lifting. Must have use of arms, legs, feet, eyes, and voice.
This could be a work from home or office opportunity for the right candidate. Pay is negotiable.
