Our Marketing Specialist is an Internal Role, reporting to the Head of Marketing. You will collaborate with the Internal Team to develop and manage the end-to-end social media and PR strategy and collaborate with Go-To-Market leads for the launch and growth of the TruPlay platform. You will work with the Marketing team to build awareness of TruPlay's brand, engage consumers, and drive conversions through storytelling, creative innovation, and data-driven insights. Our growth requires leaders who move fast, have an entrepreneurial spirit, unrelenting tenacity to get things done, and are capable of breaking down and solving complex problems.

Requirements

Must have:

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing for a consumer product
  • Strong social media strategy and management experience, including with the major platforms
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams
  • Experience launching a new product or service using PR frameworks
  • Demonstrated success in implementing direct advertising efforts, utilizing a variety of tools with social media channels
  • Comfortable operating in a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated experience in tech or consumer marketing
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

Responsibilities:

Initially, the critical responsibilities will be:

  • Develop the end-to-end social media strategy, execution, and growth of our paid and organic social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube). This includes creating and managing monthly content calendars, managing a small team of freelancers, and measurement and weekly performance reporting
  • Collaborate with Go-to-Market leads and Customer Service to drive excitement and word of mouth for key product and service launches, help educate new device owners
  • Ideate and bring a social perspective to the larger marketing team by assisting with social-first extensions of large integrated marketing campaigns, seasonal and content tentpoles, and partner marketing opportunities and advocating for key creative assets, giveaways, and unique offers to drive engagement
  • Lead social listening and advocate for the voice of the customer to share customer insights and sentiment around product/service launches. You will have a daily pulse on what customers are saying about TruPlay and will work closely with customer service and other internal teams to make sure potential and active customers have the best experience possible
