Seeking a Certified Nurse's Aide or Home Health Aide 40 hours or Part Time
We are looking for an experienced certified nurse's aide or home health aide team member to join our small residential community staff. Duties include nursing assisting duties, assisting with medications, performing bed checks and doing security checks of the facility. We are a 53 bed enhanced residential care home.
Our residents are independent but need assistance with light activities of daily living, gentle redirection and medication assistance. Must have an agreeable disposition and be able to work well with staff and treat residents with both visible and invisible disabilities with respect and dignity.
Requirements as follows: 2 Step TB, Orientation and Safety, Food Handlers, CPR and First Aid and Mental Health and Dementia Training, some training offered in house.
Must be able to pass a Federal Background check, No Felonies, Federal Drug Test and Federal Fingerprint screening.
Bilingual a plus, Spoken languages and American Sign Language.
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to work overtime as a part of the team, assist with home health duties such as laundry, environmental services and kitchen assistance as needed.
1st Shift is 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
2nd Shift is: 2:00 PM to 10:30PM
3rd Shift is: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
This is not a sedentary job. Must be clean and sober. Drug testing required before employment. Aides must be able to lift 20 pounds, assist if a resident falls, must be able to climb stairs and move quickly throughout a large facility.
